Limited Editions are the Premier Collections as they are limited by number.  They are also uniquely designed and dressed in very fashionable clothing.  Limited Editions are a good investment for the future.  When Steinbach started the Limited Edition Series his first two Nutcrackers were "Camelot & Nutcracker Suite".  In the Camelot Series, "Merlin" was the first and retailed at $165 and now is valued at over $4500.  The Nutcracker Suite was introduced with the infamous "Mouse King" which retailed for $165 and is now valued at $5000.  Many other limited edition pieces have increased over time too.  Limited Editions are not just for the serious collector they are for anyone who wishes to collect a particular nutcracker that intrigues them.  Check out our what's New and Current Section.  Also check out our Retired Limited Section.  Remember you don't have to collect the whole series to have a piece be valuable.  Collecting what you like is what is going to appreciate and what you don't will have no meaning.
